Fun for all the family
Nottingham is bursting full of fantastic activities. There are so many options to keep the whole family busy, from toddlers to teenagers.
Robin Hood Way and Sherwood Forest
You can’t come to Nottingham and not immerse yourself in the history of Robin Hood and his Merry Men!
Famed for the bronze statue of that iconic hero Robin Hood, Nottingham Castle now houses two museums, both worth a visit. The Sherwood Foresters Regimental Museum and the Nottingham Castle Museum and Art Gallery are rich with artefacts from the past. Closed until 2020 for refurbishment.
There is no end to the outdoor fun you can have here at the 52-acre Highfield Park. From boating, croquet, putting and of course going for a stroll, Highfields Park is fun for all ages.
Old Market Square
The Old Market Square, the largest public space of its kind in England, is a great place to start your exploration of this dynamic city. Stop by the Nottingham Tourist Centre for even more information about what there is to do here and don’t miss the exquisitely designed Sky Mirror, a renowned sculpture by the famed Anish Kapoor.
