Nottingham Castle
Famed for the bronze statue of that iconic hero Robin Hood, Nottingham Castle now houses two museums, both worth a visit. The Sherwood Foresters Regimental Museum and the Nottingham Castle Museum and Art Gallery are rich with artefacts from the past. Closed until 2020 for refurbishment.
The Lace Market
One of the city’s most historic areas, The Lace Market is protected by the local council as it was once the booming centre of the country’s lace industry.
